A study being done through FITKids program is analyzing a correlation between exercising and doing well and staying focused in school. This research studied 221 students for nine months, ages ranging between seven and nine. Half of these children were assigned to the FITKids program while the other half remained a control group. The results showed that the students that participated in the program increased their fitness activity and could focus on their schoolwork and could limit their distractions. Regular physical activity can improve the focus and attention on school work and can help control weight, improve cholesterol and blood pressure levels.
